The Enchanted Castle of Lombard is one of three Chicago-land family entertainment centers comprising the Trails Entertainment Center Corporation. It originally opened in 1983 occupying 10,000 square feet of the Lombard Pines Shopping Center in Lombard Illinois. Over the last 24 years it has gone through an evolution of growth into todays 60,000 square foot family entertainment center mega-complex. Attractions include laser tag, miniature golf, indoor go-karts, bumper cars, a children's softplay area, 250 games, and dining accomodations for 625 guests featuring karaoke, an animatronics stage show and big screen entertainment center. Each year this center hosts over 5,000 birthday parties and an additional 800+ group and corporate events.

Visitors to The Enchanted Castle are often amazed with the hundreds of redemption games and the vast variety of prizes to choose from. The types of games offered are just as impressive. The center's owner, 
J. Richard Oltmann, is a games designer and maufracturer with over 40 game creations to his credit. Because of his reputation within the industry as the GAMES GURU, Enchanted Castle has been a testing and launching site for many of the industry's newest game creations.
